This is a sneak peek into our newly designed modelroom. The Luxury hotel will reopen at the end of 2022.
Located next to the opera house, on the shore of Lake Zurich and in the vibrant Seefeld district, this small luxury hotel will be transformed into a special boutique hotel of great international appeal.
Our vision is to create a landmark hotel that exudes the spirit of distant travels, is inspired by the turn of century style and infused with historically relevant design elements. A place for everyone to meet and enjoy a sophisticated lifestyle.
The room design is a lyrical interpretation of a voyager’s lifestyle at the turn of the century. The charming blend of avant-garde design and historically relevant and reinterpreted features, such as marble and bronze elements, combine with bespoke furniture and custom lighting to create a design that is not contrived, but utterly fresh, sophisticated and luxurious.

"A landmark hotel that exudes the spirit of distant travels and is inspired by the turn of the century style!"
The aesthetic flare and materials are inspired by traditional elements. Wood paneling and intricate craftsmanship merge seamlessly with colonial western influences to create an immersive interior that is timeless and modern. The furniture has been designed with a modern approach in mind, combining function and aesthetics. It is complemented with loose furniture, such as the high-quality armchair by the manufacturer Wittmann and a colonial-inspired desk and nightstands designed by us. The mini bar with wickerwork, also custom-designed by our studio, houses not only local gin from Zürich, but also accessories and books from distant places.
All of the custom furniture, lights and accessories were designed and realized with great attention to detail, and reflect the spirit of luxurious elements from the past.
The bathroom is a luxurious sanctuary inspired by the turn of the century. We used a soft green tone in combination with beige in the mosaic floors. They were recreated based on the original mosaic floors found during construction.
On the walls, we opted for old art nouveau white glazed tiles with a decorative band to create a beautiful canvas for the vanity.
The custom marble top vanity provides all the amenities a guest would need during their stay. And the sophisticated and timeless lines of Dornbracht Vaia were an ideal match for the fixtures.
