Art Deco Hotel Montana
A landmark hotel in the heart of Switzerland that sits high above of the picturesque city of Lucerne and is surrounded by impressive mountains.
In a first phase our project involved the complete renovation of 26 double and single rooms, including five junior suites. The renovated rooms were reopened this summer and are part of the new "Deluxe" room category.
Our starting point was to create an all-encompassing vision for this landmark hotel. Inspired by turn of the century style and historically relevant design elements, our interior vision celebrates the beauty of the old. Reminiscent of the bohemian lifestyle, balancing classical beauty with a touch of modern design, our design intends to not feel contrived, but utterly fresh, sophisticated and timeless.

The rooms were designed in soft pinks, greens and a touch of blue, reflecting the colors of the lake. In addition, they pick up the colors of the facade and refer to the pastel colors of the turn of the century. This color combination was also applied to the furniture and the bathrooms.
The unexpected color concept in pastel tones create an unforgettable ambience.
A guestroom that feels absolutely fresh, refined and stylish.
The mosaic floors reminiscent of historical tile floors were reinterpret in a contemporary way by our office and produced by the Italian manufacturer Bisazza. Coordinated with the entire color concept, the geometric patterns and soft pastel tones play off on historical patterns found in the hotel.
On the walls, we opted for white glazed tiles to accentuate the floor and create a beautiful canvas for the vanity.
The mosaic floor is an eye catcher!
