Information generated by cookies about your use of our website is transmitted to a Google server and stored there. The servers are typically located in the USA.

Google Analytics cookies are set on the basis of Art. 6 para. 1 (f) of the GDPR. As the operator of this website, we have a legitimate interest in analysing user behaviour in order to optimise our website and marketing processes.

IP anonymisation
We use Google Analytics in conjunction with the IP anonymisation function. It ensures that Google will truncate your IP address within Member States of the European Union or contracting Member States to the Agreement on the European Economic Area (EEA) prior to transmission to the USA. Only in exceptional cases will the full IP address be transferred to a Google server in the USA and truncated there. Google will use this information on behalf of the operator of this website to analyse your use of the website, to compile reports on website activity and provide additional services associated with the use of the website and the internet to the website operator. The IP address transmitted by Google Analytics is not merged with other Google data.

Newsletter – MailChimp

The newsletter is sent via “MailChimp”, a mailing service provider of the US provider Rocket Science Group, LLC, 675 Ponce de Leon Ave NE #5000, Atlanta, GA 30308, USA. The data protection regulations of the mailing service provider can be seen here. The Rocket Science Group LLC d/b/a MailChimp is certified under the Privacy Shield Agreement and thus offers a guarantee to comply with the European data protection level. The mailing service provider is used on the basis of our legitimate interests in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 (f) of the GDPR and an Order Processing Agreement in accordance with Art. 28 para. 3 clause 1 of the GDPR.

The mailing service provider may use the data of the recipients in pseudonymous form, i.e. without assignment to a user, to optimise or improve their own services, e.g. for the technical optimisation of sending and the presentation of newsletters or for statistical purposes. However, the mailing service does not use our newsletter recipient data to contact recipients directly nor do they pass on the information to third parties.

Social plug-ins

No social plug-ins are used on this website.

Adobe fonts

We use Adobe Fonts to display fonts on our website. Adobe Fonts is a service that provides access to a font library and is provided by Adobe Systems Incorporated (Adobe), 345 Park Avenue, San Jose, CA 95110-2704, USA. When you open a page, your browser loads the required web fonts into your browser cache in order to display texts and fonts correctly. No cookies are placed or used to provide the fonts as part of the Adobe Font service. To provide the Adobe Font service, Adobe may collect information about the font used to identify the website itself and the associated Adobe account.
