Journal #3 Seoul
Vivid memories of my childhood in Seoul, Korea continue to shape my adulthood. These emotional imprints guide my work and creative process and evoke a deep respect for heritage and traditions.
The architecture and traditional style of Korean architecture are defining influences in my work. Drawing inspiration from the graceful lines and intricate details found in hanoks, the traditional Korean houses, I incorporate elements of simplicity and harmony into my designs.
The fusion of modern aesthetics with traditional Asian lines, form the cornerstone of my architectural approach. The use of natural materials, the play of light and shadow, and a keen emphasis on spatial balance is of great importance in my work. This integration of traditional elements not only creates visually appealing designs but also fosters a connection between the past and the present.
Ultimately, my commitment to creating harmonious interiors is a distinctive thread weaving through my creations, producing spaces that reflect a balanced blend of tradition and innovation.
