Silk Restaurant & Bar

When you need respite from the city’s hustle & bustle, the Silk Restaurant & Bar is a welcoming space to escape into. It can be found on the ground floor of a boutique Hotel Ambassador located next to the opera house.

The restaurant was created to be a calming oasis, with warm wooden panels, cozy bench seating and comfortable dining chairs, which immediately invite you to linger. The carved mulberry trees on the wall panels and brass mulberry leaves in the terrazzo floor, create a reference to Zurich's silk industry at the turn of the century.

The final flourish is the large stone bar counter, which offers a place for locals and tourists alike to meet and enjoy wonderful cocktails and drinks masterfully created by the renowned barkeeper.
