Owner and Creative Director
Born and raised in Seoul, South Korea, but with an international upbringing across many continents, Ina Rinderknecht’s love of design began during a school exchange in Yogyakarta where she learnt traditional Indonesian arts and crafts. From there, she graduated from the Istituto Europeo di Design followed by obtaining a Masters Degree of Arts in Design from Domus Academy Milan. She started her career in Milan, Italy before moving to Hawaii to create renowned hospitality spaces with Peter Vincent & Associates. While working as the lead interior designer on the Park Shore Waikiki Hotel in 2005, owned by the Blackstone Group, she was subsequently asked in 2006 to join this Private Equity firm as a design consultant for their own luxury hotel brand, LXR Luxury Resorts.
After establishing her office in San Francisco in 2006, she returned to Zurich in 2008, opening a design practice on her home turf.
Over the last years a vast range of high profile hotels ranging from 3 to 5 Stars, located in the US, the Caribbean and Europe and international high-end residences diversified her portfolio . Due to her international upbringing the idea of merging the field of design and travel, made it very fast clear that leisure design such as hotels and restaurants, would become her passion. Ina also works for a select group of global clientele on their private residences.

Ali is a well rounded architect with many years of experience in the industry, knowing the importance of combining architecture with the world of interiors. He is passionate about his work and seeks in each phase the creative moment. Nature is a source of inspiration to him, but he doesn't need to wait until after work to unwind and recharge. His profound knowledge about a balanced body and mind comes from his education as an Alexander Technique practitioner, and our team benefits from daily instructions how to be at ease in everyday life.
M. SC. Architect
Right after university and already a decade ago, Julia moved directly from Berlin-Müggelsee to Zürichsee, which became instantly her new home away from home. Knowing how to create an oasis of wellbeing not only helped her to establish a new home in Zurich, but also benefits her at work. She has a strong sense for aesthetics and logic which she unites in each design phase, always trying to find harmony between form and function. Her honest nature and gentle attitude, is not only visible in her work but also admired by our team.
Dipl. Ing. Architect
It is not surprising that Ernesto a real Veronese from Lake Garda, who studied Interior Design and Architecture in Venice, designed yachts and cruise ships in Denmark, would ultimately move back to a lake. After living 8 years in Stuttgart, Germany working for renowned international design firms, he now calls Zurich his home. His vast expertise in interior architecture and design, as well as his keen interest in history, culture, and nature is of great value to our team.
MA Interior Architecture
Born in Taiwan but raised in Los Angeles, Vicky is a native Angeleno. There she has worked as an Interior Designer with Hotels for a few years before living in San Francisco and studying in Seattle and Milan. Now she calls Zürich her new home, Peter Zumthor her favourite architect and Bauhaus her prefered style. Besides potatoes she loves to travel and discover new places, cultures, food and architecture. We are happy to have her with us also as a language talent speaking fluently Mandarin and English – and for her California sunshine.
Raised in Germany, Belma completed her master's degree at the Münster School of Architecture, worked for World-Architects in Istanbul and other architectural firms in Switzerland. Even though Belma's Turkish roots are not obvious at first glance, you can quickly feel the bubbly vivacity of the mother of three. Architectural journeys are her sources of inspiration. As her meditative timeout, she takes with her passion 'Amigurumi' - a crochet doll technique, drawing, watercolouring and cooking.
CAD Draftswoman / Interior Design Student
Nita is our talented Danish / Swiss Interior Design Student. Her training as Draftsman in Zürich has been the core foundation to her path today. Since her childhood, she is enthusiastic about interior design and her know-how grows day by day due to her curiosity and the inspiration of her role models. Not only interior design, but also sport brings her big content in her life. As a handball player, she is always on the move in a team, knows about attack and defense. Besides that, traveling and getting to know other cultures is a big inspiration for her.
Irina has gained and built up her expertise over the years at Bolero and Style magazine, where she came into contact with all kinds of beautiful things. The downside was that her personal shopping list only became longer and longer. Being an all-rounder, she supports our team professionally with her friendly and warm-hearted nature. She loves to travel and discover new cultures. If there was one place she could wish for, it would be Ibiza, but we are glad she‘s with us now.
Dipl. Ing. Architect / Freelance
His aesthetic talent, innate to Francesco, who was born in the Bijou Urbino in the Italian Marches, once the centre of art and architecture in the Middle Ages and the Renaissance. He also completed his studies in Venice, a stronghold steeped in architectural history. So it is not surprising that he started building with Lego bricks as a child. Later he worked as an architect in Milan, Barcelona, Germany and Sweden until he was given the chance to work in a 3D team as a visualization specialist. As a jack-of-all-trades he plays guitar and piano, builds sculptures, draws, cooks passionately, fights battles and then relaxes with chess.

All in one
To create a one of a kind project that is contemporary and appropriate as well as sophisticated and timeless, we take a broader approach than just focusing on the interior. Our designs are born from our appreciation and respect of architecture, design, art, fashion, travel and historic structures. We believe that design really is in the details.
Research and Ideation
The initial phase consists of gathering information and developing a profound understanding of our client's design goals. Our in-depth research helps us to outline the project parameters and to create a tailor made design for you. Through a collection of mood images, sketches and materials your design vision becomes alive.
- story and mood board
Creative Exploration and Design Development
In this phase we expand our creative thinking into the three-dimensional design of the project. Every decision, from interior layouts and materials to furniture and lighting is made with your design parameters in mind. At this stage the most significant ideas are being further developed and refined into detailed concepts.
- conceptual floorplans and elevations
- three-dimensional renderings
- furniture selections
- material boards
Design Concept Refinement
In this phase we will translate your feedback into our design concepts and interior renderings. Once we reviewed and implemented your input we will than develop the design concept into design intent drawings that convey your vision.
- refined planning for all areas
All of our creative ideas and planning is useless without proper execution. So at this point we ensure that every element of your design works. Once the final design is approved we prepare drawings and specifications to move the design forward for construction.
- construction drawings
- material specifications
- sanitary specifications
- ironmongery specifications
- FF+E specifications
At this stage of the project our documents are handed out, but our work doesn't stop here. We work closely with the executing architect and/or general contractor to ensure that your project meets our standard of excellence. We will monitor the construction progress and determine if it is translating well into the built environment.
