Born and raised in Seoul, South Korea, but with an international upbringing across many continents, Ina Rinderknecht’s love of design began during a school exchange in Yogyakarta where she learnt traditional Indonesian arts and crafts. From there, she graduated from the Istituto Europeo di Design followed by obtaining a Masters Degree of Arts in Design from Domus Academy Milan. She started her career in Milan, Italy before moving to Hawaii to create renowned hospitality spaces with Peter Vincent & Associates. While working as the lead interior designer on the Park Shore Waikiki Hotel in 2005, owned by the Blackstone Group, she was subsequently asked in 2006 to join this Private Equity firm as a design consultant for their own luxury hotel brand, LXR Luxury Resorts.

After establishing her office in San Francisco in 2006, she returned to Zurich in 2008, opening a design practice on her home turf.

Over the last years, a vast range of high profile hotels ranging from 3 to 5 Stars, located in the US, the Caribbean and Europe and international high-end residences diversified her portfolio . Due to her international upbringing, the idea of merging the fields of design and travel made it quickly clear that leisure design, such as hotels and restaurants, would become her passion. Ina also works for a select group of global clientele on their private residences.

Laura Blochwitz

Laura Blochwitz

Registered Architect / Associate

Laura has spent her career creating bespoke private residences while working with firms in Houston, Boston, New York and now Zürich. She believes the best projects occur when architecture, interior design and landscape design all work in harmony towards the same goal - creating a unique environment, perfectly suited to its owners - and loves being a part of the design team.  Originally from Fargo, ND, it was during a year studying in Rome that she discovered her passion for travel and world architecture.  She loves introducing her two children to new experiences, and when she is not working, she is busy planning their next trip.

Julia Gorek

Julia Gorek

M. SC. Architect / Associate

Right after university and already a decade ago, Julia moved directly from Berlin-Müggelsee to Zürichsee, which became instantly her new home away from home. Knowing how to create an oasis of wellbeing not only helped her to establish a new home in Zurich, but also benefits her at work. She has a strong sense for aesthetics and logic, which she unites in each design phase, always trying to find harmony between form and function. Her honest nature and gentle attitude are not only visible in her work, but also admired by our team.

Ali Koyun

Ali Koyun

Dipl. Ing. Architect / Associate

Ali is a well rounded architect with many years of experience in the industry, knowing the importance of combining architecture with the world of interiors. He is passionate about his work and seeks in each phase the creative moment. Nature is a source of inspiration to him, but he doesn't need to wait until after work to unwind and recharge. His profound knowledge about a balanced body and mind comes from his education as an Alexander Technique practitioner, and our team benefits from daily instructions how to be at ease in everyday life.

Nita is our talented Danish / Swiss interior designer. Her training as a draftsman in Zürich has been the core foundation to her path today. Since her childhood, she has been enthusiastic about interior design and her know-how grows day by day due to her curiosity and the inspiration of her role models. Not only interior design, but also sport brings her big contentment in her life. As a handball player, she is always on the move in a team, and knows about attack and defense. Belma Geiger

Belma Geiger

MA Architecture / Freelance

Raised in Germany, Belma completed her master's degree at the Münster School of Architecture, worked for World-Architects in Istanbul and other architectural firms in Switzerland. Even though Belma's Turkish roots are not obvious at first glance, you can quickly feel the bubbly vivacity of the mother of three. Architectural journeys are her sources of inspiration. As her meditative timeout, she takes with her passion «Amigurumi» - a crochet doll technique, drawing, watercolouring and cooking.

Francesco Cesaroni

Francesco Cesaroni

Dipl. Ing. Architect / Freelance

His aesthetic talent is innate to Francesco, who was born in the Bijou Urbino in the Italian Marches, once the centre of art and architecture in the Middle Ages and the Renaissance. He also completed his studies in Venice, a stronghold steeped in architectural history. So it is not surprising that he started building with Lego bricks as a child. Later he worked as an architect in Milan, Barcelona, Germany and Sweden until he was given the chance to work in a 3D team as a visualization specialist. As a jack-of-all-trades he plays guitar and piano, builds sculptures, draws, cooks passionately, fights battles and then relaxes with chess.

Orlando

Orlando

Office dog

For many people, Orlando is known as a wiener dog, with a hard-to-spell name and a shocking number of inappropriate puns.

He has a big personality for his rather small size, and he is not about to be ignored. With a surprisingly loud bark and an eager, affectionate personality, Orlando is small only in stature.

This new addition to our team is in charge of play, fun and outdoor activities, giving us a much needed break from using our brains.
